27. Nourishment

yí · Thunder ☳ over Mountain ☶

Attention to quality — of what you feed yourself, and of what you feed others.

The Noble One's Path

Thunder at the foot of a mountain. The Noble One is careful about what he says, and moderate in what he eats and drinks — discipline in the small, repeated acts.

The Lesson

Pay attention to what you feed your mind and body. Give others what you yourself need in order to grow.

A question to sit with

Do my current habits build me up, or rather deplete me?
